Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a Front End Operations Supervisor to lead the Foods To Go program and oversee front-end teams. You will hire, train and develop associates, manage schedules for online orders, and ensure high levels of customer service and morale across departments.

The role requires strong leadership, knowledge of store operations, and a focus on safety, quality and efficiency in a fast-paced retail environment. This is a full-time on-site position in Southern Shores, NC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor entry-level leadership experience acceptable for role.
• Strong understanding of store operations and merchandising techniques.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and customer service skills.
• Ability to train and develop department associates and manage performance.
• Knowledge of scheduling, budgeting and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage Food Lion To Go operations and supervise front-end teams.
• Lead hiring, training and development for department associates.
• Develop schedules to meet online order demand and reduce customer inconvenience.
• Promote customer service excellence and associate morale in line with Guiding Principles.
• Monitor financial and operating results and adjust actions to meet targets.
• Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation and company policies.
