Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a Front End / To Go operations leader at Store 01577 in Winston-Salem. You will manage To Go operations, hire and train staff, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and associate morale.

You will supervise scheduling, lead a team across departments, and drive adherence to budgets, safety, and quality standards while promoting Food Lion’s values and service culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lead and manage a team.
• Strong understanding of store operations and merchandising techniques preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to use technical information to solve problems.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.
• National Registry of Food Safety Professionals or similar accreditation as a "Certified Food Safety Manager" or be able to achieve accreditation within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Manages Food Lion To Go operations, including hiring, training and developing department associates.
• Supervise performance of department associates and conduct performance appraisals.
• Maintain effective work schedules for To Go associates to meet online order traffic.
• Provide leadership to promote our guiding principles and values.
• Support achievement of budgeted financial and operating results.
• Partner with department managers to ensure proper handling of fresh orders and stockouts.
• Ensure return-to-stock items are handled promptly, especially perishables.
• Model outstanding customer service and use product knowledge to meet customer needs.
