Qualifications

• Must meet minimum age requirements for specific functions.
• Certified Food Safety Manager or ability to achieve within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Manage Food Lion To Go operations, including hiring, training and developing department associates.
• Supervise performance and conduct formal appraisals for direct reports.
• Maintain effective work schedules to meet online order traffic and minimize customer inconvenience.
• Provide leadership aligned with guiding principles, values and strategy.
• Support achievement of budgeted financial and operating results.
• Partner with department managers to handle fresh orders and out-of-stock items.
• Ensure proper handling of return-to-stock items, especially refrigerated and perishable goods.
• Model outstanding customer service and use product knowledge to meet customer needs.
• Control store expenses through proper ordering and equipment care.
• Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation and company policies.
