Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a Front End Lead to oversee Food Lion To Go operations, hire and develop department associates, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

You will manage schedules, support financial and operating results, and partner with managers to handle fresh orders and avoid stockouts, while fostering a teamwork-driven environment and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• A high school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lead and manage a team.
• Strong understanding of store operations and merchandising techniques preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Must be accredited as a Certified Food Safety Manager or able to achieve accreditation within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Manages Food Lion To Go operations, including hiring, training and developing department associates.
• Supervise performance of department associates and conduct timely performance appraisals.
• Maintain effective work schedules to meet online order demand and minimize customer inconvenience.
• Provide leadership to promote a culture reflecting Guiding Principles, Core Values, Vision and Strategy.
• Support achievement of budgeted financial and operating results.
• Proactively partner with department managers to ensure fresh orders and handle out-of-stock items.
