Job summary

WSP in Oakland, CA is seeking a Traffic Management Center (TMC) Program Manager to oversee QA/QC, contract administration, and data analytics across the TMC program. The role requires 12+ years of relevant experience and at least 5 years of management in traffic operations or TSMO, with a Bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities include staff oversight, performance reporting, client communications, and creating periodic reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 12+ years of relevant experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of management experience in TMC, traffic operations, emergency operations, tolling, or TSMO.
• At least 4 years of project management experience.
• Experience supervising employees.

Responsibilities

• Be available at all times during off-duty hours to assist operations staff.
• Participate in on-site and off-site meetings, build and maintain relationships with operational stakeholders.
• Manage staff administration, performance, and oversight.
• Lead performance measurement, management, and reporting.
• Implementation and oversight of client policies and directives.
• Lead data analytics activities including economic evaluation, and system evaluation.
• Report to the client daily on all matters affecting TMC operations.
• Attend meetings with the client to relay information.
• Create and distribute weekly and monthly reports; address special data requests.
