Job summary

I-77 Mobility Partners LLC is seeking a Traffic Management Center Operator to monitor roadways, detect and respond to traffic incidents, and support the O&M department. The role involves coordinating with public agencies, dispatching incident response, and maintaining logs and reports.

The ideal candidate has 0-3+ years in transportation or related operations, an associate degree (preferred), and strong multitasking and teamwork abilities.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred in transportation/technical field or related TMC experience.
• 0-3+ years of experience in transportation, public safety, or commercial operations environment or similar.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the point of contact for third parties requiring assistance on the I-77 Express Lanes Project and dispatch incident support when needed.
• Monitor CCTV from the Traffic Management Center and dispatch staff to remove abandoned vehicles and assist motorists.
• Refer calls concerning customer comments and/or complaints to the Corporate Affairs Department.
• Process and input data into the maintenance management system and generate monthly/quarterly reports.
• Maintain an accurate record of events and log data.
• Assist in data transfer of information and schedules.
• Prepare routine and complex correspondence (letters, memoranda, reports).
• Assist in preparation of operating procedures, procurement and purchase processes.
• File and organize logs and documents in the electronic document management system.
• Coordinate insurance claims information packets.
• Provide human resources administrative functions for the O&M department.
• Coordinate meeting arrangements and greet visitors.
• Other administrative/support duties as assigned.
