I-77 Mobility Partners LLC is seeking a Traffic Management Center (TMC) Operator to monitor roadways, detect and respond to incidents, and manage dynamic toll pricing on the I-77 Express Lanes Project. As a Traffic Management Center (TMC) Operator, you will be responsible for monitoring the roadways including detecting, confirming, updating, and responding to scheduled and unscheduled traffic incidents, congestion, and monitoring of dynamic toll pricing on the I-77 MP’s Managed Lanes Projects. The operator position is the eyes and ears for detection and management of all activities being handled by the TMC. You will provide administrative support to the Operations and Maintenance department for efficient operations.

The ability and willingness to work alternate work schedules, including weekends and night shifts will be essential. Our office is typically quiet with low noise levels; however, you will often hear employees laughing and talking amongst themselves. Effective communication will be key for this role and will require you to talk and hear others. You will probably spend a majority of your time sitting and/or walking around the office, whether to visit a co-worker or make it to a meeting on time and there may be occasional long hours to put in if you are diligently working to complete a project and finish a report. Specific vision abilities required by this job include ability to adjust focus, as necessary to use a computer and clearly interpret events on the video wall.
