The South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles (SCDMV) is seeking a Titles & Registrations Specialist III in Blythewood, SC. You will handle title transactions, registrations, and related services, ensuring accuracy and compliance while assisting customers in person or via correspondence.

You will use the Phoenix system, support fleet and employee programs, and work under supervision with potential extended hours. Competitive benefits accompany this role.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must pass a nationwide criminal background check incl. fingerprinting.
• Ability to learn and explain DMV policy to customers.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in basic computer skills.
• Ability to work under general supervision and long hours may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Process transactions (duplicate titles, registrations, handicap placards, etc.).
• Respond to inquiries via mail, email, or phone.
• Advise customers on payments and required documents; research issues.
• Manage fleet account customers and BMW employee program; support DMV offices.
• Use Phoenix system to enter, retrieve, update data for customers, courts, law enforcement.
• Maintain tracking for inquiries; reconcile reports and cash drawers.
• Review documents for accuracy; prepare documents for scanning.
• Perform other duties as required.
