Job summary

Title Clearing & Escrow, LLC (TC&E) is seeking a detail-oriented Title Examiner to perform thorough examinations of land records and tax certificates to ensure accurate title products. You will identify and assist in resolving title deficiencies to support marketable title commitments and closely collaborate with closers and clients.

This role requires 1+ years of title research experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years’ experience in title research, title examination or a related field.
• Ability to interpret title commitments across various jurisdictions.
• Knowledge of the title curative process for resolving outstanding title issues.
• Familiarity with title documents, including deeds, mortgages, liens, judgments, assignments, powers of attorney and affidavits.
• Typing speed of at least 30 words per minute with high accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Perform examinations of land records, assessment records and tax certificates to ensure accuracy and integrity of title products.
• Identify and assist in resolving title deficiencies to support issuance of marketable title commitments.
• Prepare documents, input data and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve title issues promptly.
