You will conduct basic title searches, review deeds and liens, and prepare preliminary reports. Qualifications

• General understanding of title insurance and related risks.
• Ability to protect confidential information and follow security protocols.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, PDFs and related software.
• Ability to interpret legal descriptions and mapping techniques.
• Experience with title plant searches and related systems.
• Familiarity with title industry software such as Resware or SoftPro

Responsibilities

• Conduct title examinations to determine legal status and defects.
• Review deeds, mortgages, liens, judgments for accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare preliminary title reports and summaries highlighting issues.
• Research public records to verify ownership history.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and laws.
• Communicate updates and explanations to clients regarding findings.
• Collaborate with senior examiners and teammates to move transactions forward.
• Stay updated on industry trends to improve examination quality.
