Job summary

Carvana in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Registration/Titles Specialist to own the full journey of vehicle title and registration. This in-person role collaborates with customers, DMVs, lienholders, and internal partners to resolve complex title cases and ensure accurate paperwork.

You'll start at $16/hour with staged increases over 9 months and ongoing merit raises. The position includes overtime and holiday shifts, with a clear path to higher pay as you grow within Carvana's Customer Care team.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1-2 years in administrative, data entry, or customer-facing roles.
• Tech-savviness: able to navigate multiple systems and learn new tools quickly.
• Resilience & Critical Thinking: adapt quickly to change and make careful decisions.
• Attention to Detail: thorough cross-referencing and accurate title work.
• Notary: ability to obtain a Remote Online Notary (RON) certification within 90 days. Carvana sponsors process.
• Document Experience: experience with vehicle titles, DMV processes, or government licensing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review, process, and complete documentation required to transfer a vehicle title, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Contact customers, DMVs, lienholders, and third parties to collect missing or corrected documents and resolve title discrepancies.
• Input, cross-reference, and retrieve data across multiple databases with high accuracy.
• Process, finalize, and mail customer registration packets; interact with state and county licensing departments.
• Serve as the voice of Carvana on inbound video calls to notarize documents and guide customers through ownership transfer.
• Maintain detailed customer records and case notes for seamless handoffs.
• Collaborate with peers, vendors, and internal teams to solve problems and move cases forward.
• Manage caseloads from open to close; exhibit strong penmanship for title work.
• Take on special projects and other duties as the business evolves.
