Job summary

Quinnipiac University invites applications for a Title IX and Bias Response Case Coordinator to support resolution of Title IX and bias-related concerns with professionalism and integrity. This role partners with campus stakeholders to promote compliance with policies and provide guidance on rights, options, and supportive resources.

  • Conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt in crisis situations
  • Demonstrated experience with data analysis
  • Understanding of trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and equitable practices in complaint resolution and support services
  • Ability to exercise exceptional judgment, discretion, and maintain confidentiality while handling highly sensitive information
  • Problem-solving capacities and collaborative mindset
  • Ability to de-escalate emotions in a calm and professional manner
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive, respectful campus environment
  • Ability to navigate difficult conversations with empathy, professionalism, and impartiality
  • Familiarity with office applications including Maxient, OneDrive, and Outlook
  • Proven ability to collaborate with individuals from varied backgrounds

Responsibilities

  • Manage the reporting of complaints, conduct intake interviews, refer respondents and complainants to internal/external resources, and conduct informal resolution mediations
  • Respond to non-emergency reports and complaints of violations of the University Sexual Misconduct and Anti-Harassment policies in a timely manner
  • Work with faculty and staff to implement and monitor interim supportive measures
  • Coordinate process delivery such as notices of investigation and no-contact orders to complainants and respondents
  • Assist the Title IX Coordinator and Bias Investigator with training preparation and delivery for students, faculty, and staff
  • Coordinate service delivery and information sharing with Human Resources, The CARE Team, and Public Safety
  • Communicate with attorneys, party advisors, students and parents
  • Serve as the public-facing representative of the office and first contact for concerns related to Title IX and Bias incidents
  • Oversee departmental financial and operational processes
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Education

Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Pre-Law, Sociology, Nursing, Administration, or Human Resources is required
Master's degree is preferred
