Job summary

UC Santa Barbara is seeking a Case Resolution Officer to support the Title IX Compliance & Discrimination and Harassment Prevention Office. This role uses independent judgment, maintains confidentiality, and coordinates investigations of harassment and discrimination cases within a 100% time schedule.

The position is hybrid, located in Phelps Hall, with a 100% effort and a competitive salary range. Qualified candidates will have a relevant degree and several years of investigative and analytical

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related area and/or equivalent experience and training.
• 2+ years of experience working with laws and regulations related to harassment and discrimination in educational or employment settings.
• 4+ years of experience with conducting analysis and developing recommendations.
• Proven written and oral communication skills, ability to maintain neutrality, and effective collaboration with advisors and support personnel.
• Demonstrated ability to gather, organize information, conduct analysis, and develop recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Implements and maintains the University’s policies and procedures across multiple cases.
• Independently conducts investigations, interviews, data collection and analysis for complex complaints.
• Provides case management, preliminary findings, and coordination with campus partners.
