Job summary

Utah Valley University seeks an Equity and Title IX Specialist to investigate and resolve reports of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, sexual misconduct involving students, faculty, employees, and others. You will ensure compliance with university policy and applicable laws, and serve as a liaison educating and guiding campus communities on Title IX processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, psychology, counseling, or related field.
• Experience with Title IX, EEO, Clery and related laws preferred.
• Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
• Strong writing, proofreading, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform investigations by planning, interviewing parties and witnesses, and collecting evidence.
• Draft reports and share with parties; coordinate with OGC and leaders.
• Document all activities in electronic systems and maintain records.
• Coordinate hearings, schedule, and ensure policy compliance.
• Provide cross-functional support and supervise part-time staff.
