Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or 60 college credit hours required at time of hire or pass the ParaPro Test provided by the district free of charge.
• Preferred bilingual abilities (English/Spanish) may be advantageous at some sites.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with assigned teacher and students to reinforce skills.
• Assist students individually or in groups to support reading, writing, and math goals.
• Follow a written plan to supplement classroom instruction.
• Assist with classroom computer instruction and learning activities.
• Assist with translation when necessary and participate in site/district professional development.
• Support school improvement initiatives and complete required assessments training.
• Attend regularly and perform other duties as assigned to support the classroom.
