Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, valid Texas Instructional Aide Certificate or eligibility, and either an Associate's degree or 48 credit hours. Bilingual abilities are preferred; English communication must be strong.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Texas Instructional Aide Certificate or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Must meet 1 of 2 criteria: Associate's degree or 48 credit hours.

Responsibilities

• Work with individual students or small groups to conduct instructional activities.
• Maintain confidentiality of information.
• Assist in maintaining a neat and orderly work environment.
• Assist in supervising students throughout the school day as needed.
• Assist in the maintenance of administrative records and preparation of reports as required.
• Assist in inventory, care, and maintenance of equipment as assigned.
• Assist in preparing materials/displays for instruction or campus operations.
• Participate in staff development programs, faculty meetings, and special events, as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
