Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Timekeeping Systems SME to serve as the primary expert for our timekeeping platforms.

You will act as the central contact for employees submitting time and supervisors approving it, collaborating with HR and Payroll to ensure accurate payroll processing and system integrity. You'll conduct audits, resolve issues, train users, and coordinate system enhancements while maintaining compliance with internal policies and government regulations.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in HR, General Business, Computer Systems, or similar discipline is required.
• 1 year or more of experience with timekeeping systems is a plus.
• 2 years or more of hands-on experience in Human Resources practices and policies is required.
• Must understand the role of Human Resources and how it influences the business daily.
• Must know how to train and influence system's day-to-day users.
• Knowledge of the relationship between timekeeping and Payroll Services.
• Knowledge of compliance rules (US, CBAs, state/local) relevant to timekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive support to employees and managers navigating timekeeping systems.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure policy and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain relationships with HR and Payroll stakeholders for timely payroll updates.
• Update and distribute timekeeping training materials and ensure alignment with updates.
• Ensure new users have timely access and training.
• Complete proxy setups to prevent service disruption during absences.
• Provide user support, follow-up, and escalate complex issues as needed.
• Monitor systems by running periodic reports for data discrepancies.
• Maintain a centralized knowledge repository for QRGs and FAQs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
