Universal Plant Services, Inc. seeks a Timekeeper to accurately collect and audit timekeeping data, ensure compliance with policies and client requirements, and support payroll and project billing activities.

You will work with project leadership, payroll personnel, and accounting to ensure precise labor reporting and cost management. The role emphasizes data accuracy, file reconciliation, and confidentiality, with a focus on timely time entry and collaboration across teams in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Must have strong timekeeping and data entry skills with attention to detail.
• Experience with payroll processing, cost tracking, and auditing preferred.
• Knowledge of union agreements and compliance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collect, process, audit, and maintain daily timecard data for accurate payroll.
• Balance time data against client Gate Logs and allocate by site deadlines.
• Audit timesheets and correct discrepancies impacting billing.
• Ensure time approvals align with job owners and client contacts.
• Prepare weekly payroll reports and support cost tracking and invoicing.
• Assist with billing accuracy and resolve payroll/billable discrepancies with project leadership.
