Job summary

Marathon Petroleum Company seeks a Time & Scheduling Coordinator at the St. Paul Park refinery to support hourly employees using WorkForce for timekeeping and Indeavor for scheduling. You’ll ensure accurate payroll and timely compensation in line with union contracts and MPC practices.

Reporting to the HR Director, this on-site role covers training, reporting, and process improvements while maintaining confidentiality and adherence to policies and laws.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Four (4) years of time keeping, scheduling, record keeping, or relevant experience required.
• Experience with large, complex payroll involving different pay rules and labor contracts is highly preferred.
• Experience using Workforce and Indeavor preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serves as site scheduling and timekeeping SME, coordinating salary timekeeping with other departments.
• Coordinates with corporate payroll for biweekly payroll processing and pay adjustments.
• Handles exceptions to employee schedules (shift trades, call-ins, pay code edits, etc.).
• Coordinates with HR Partners on site programs like job bidding, absence control, and fatigue risk management.
• Creates and maintains schedules for hourly personnel ensuring compliance with CBAs and MPC pay practices.
• Delivers timekeeping and scheduling training for new hires and supervisors.
• Provides reporting and research support for timekeeping, scheduling, and payroll data requests.
• Troubleshoots scheduling, timekeeping, and payroll issues and supports staff.
