Qualifications

• Experience in transportation, logistics, dispatch, freight forwarding, or customer service preferred.
• Experience with time-sensitive shipments (NFO) or vendor/carrier operations preferred.
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Comfort with high-volume phone activity.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong attention to detail and decision-making under pressure.
• Knowledge of U.S. geography is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor time-critical and expedited shipments from order entry through final delivery.
• Track shipments and ensure milestones and updates are accurate and timely.
• Communicate with customers, carriers, vendors, and internal teams to support shipment execution.
• Provide proactive shipment updates and respond to questions and changing requirements.
• Follow SOPs for order management, tracking, communication, and escalation.
• Identify delays or issues and escalate to stakeholders.
• Maintain documentation and communicate important information between shifts.
• Handle high-volume calls, emails, and tasks in a call-center-style environment.
• Respond quickly to new orders and adjust priorities as needed.
• Collaborate with team and leadership to maintain on-time performance.
• Participate in meetings and training to stay current on procedures.
