Aston Carter is seeking a Logistics Clerk to support the Global Logistics team in Newberg, OR. This role focuses on administrative and operational duties for domestic shipments, working with internal teams and external partners to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Up to 1 year of relevant admin/logistics experience.
• Experience with order entry in logistics or shipping operations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel for reports and spreadsheets.
• Willingness to learn new software such as TMS and ERP.
• Strong math skills for freight calculations and cost tracking.
• High accuracy data entry with efficient keyboarding.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional communication with internal and external customers.
• Ability to learn quickly and follow instructions.
• Ability to work independently and escalate issues when needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Attention to detail in freight bills and shipping records.

Responsibilities

• Work in TMS/ERP to manage customer sales orders and determine shipping modes.
• Process logistics files, shipments, and export quotes accurately.
• Post EU EDC shipments, monitor costs and reporting.
• Enter orders and track inbound supplier shipments for timely delivery.
• Assist with annual audit tasks and compliance support.
• Schedule pickups with carriers and maintain shipping schedules.
• Provide freight quotes and seek cost-reduction opportunities.
• Support customer service with freight quoting and tracking shipments.
• Audit and code carrier invoices and resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate with carriers to resolve billing issues and ensure timely payments.
• Maintain confidentiality and meet quality standards.
• Learn new tasks and software as needed.
