Dal-Tile Distribution, Inc. in New Jersey is seeking an Outside Sales Rep to grow its countertop market share by servicing existing customers and expanding the base through cold calling.

You will conduct weekly sales calls, prepare reports, analyze markets, and collaborate with dealers, builders, and top contractors to maximize margins and placements. A background in tile or building materials, strong communication, and self-motivation are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Computer skills include Word, Excel, and Lotus Notes/email.
• Clean driving record and reliable transportation required.
• 4 years of prior selling experience.
• Prior customer service experience is a plus.
• Ability to work in an unstructured, unsupervised environment.

Responsabilités

• Conduct weekly sales calls servicing existing customers and cold calling potential customers.
• Prepare weekly Sales and Call reports and develop monthly travel calendars.
• Perform area market analyses of top accounts, dealers, contractors and builders.
• Research market data to tailor product and sales strategies.
• Grow market share while maintaining product margin goals.
• Route calls to display, rack, or sale via Positive Action Forms.
• Negotiate and place displays in showrooms and follow up with customers.
• Establish client files and timely follow-up on programs.
• Provide PK seminars to customers and use On Demand reporting to meet objectives.
• Perform other duties as required.
