Job summary

Dal-Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, seeks an Outside Sales Rep in the Miami area to grow market share for Dal-Tile Countertop through servicing existing customers and acquiring new accounts via cold calling. The role requires weekly sales calls, reports, and strategic travel planning.

The ideal candidate has 4 years of selling experience, a clean driving record, and proficiency in Word, Excel, and Lotus Notes. Strong negotiation, communication, and independent work skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 4 years of prior selling experience.
• Clean driving record and reliable transportation.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, and Lotus Notes.
• High school diploma; some college preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts weekly sales calls servicing existing customers and cold calling new prospects.
• Prepares weekly Sales and Call reports.
• Develops monthly sales call strategy and travel calendar.
• Analyzes area top accounts—Dealers, Contractors, Builders.
• Researches area product data to guide sales strategy.
• Grows market share while meeting product margin goals.
• Completes Positive Action Forms for cold calls leading to displays or sales.
• Negotiates and places displays in showrooms.
• Follows up with clients by phone, letter, or email.
• Maintains client files and follows up on programs.
• Delivers PK seminars to customers.
• Uses On Demand reporting to meet sales objectives.
• Performs other duties as required.
