Job summary

Dal-Tile Distribution, Inc. is seeking a Sales Representative to increase market share in the region by servicing existing customers and expanding the base through cold calling.

You will conduct weekly sales calls, prepare reports, and analyze top accounts, with a focus on driving sales and maintaining margins. The role requires a high school diploma (some college preferred) and at least 4 years of selling experience, along with strong Microsoft Word/Excel and Lotus Notes/email skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; some college preferred.
• 4 years of selling experience; customer service is a plus.
• Proficient with Word, Excel and Lotus Notes/email; valid driving record.

Responsibilities

• Conducts weekly sales calls servicing existing customers and cold calls 4–5 per week.
• Prepares weekly Sales and Call reports.
• Develops monthly strategy for sales calls and travel calendar.
• Conducts area market analysis of top accounts and key dealers/builders.
• Researches product data to tailor sales strategy and margins.
• Grow market share by increasing sales while maintaining margins.
• Performs client follow-ups via phone, letters, and emails.
• Establishes and maintains client files and follows up on programs.
