Job summary

Floor & Decor in Peachtree City, GA seeks a Training Leader to develop Product Sales Specialists and ensure customers have a positive shopping experience through exceptional service and accurate product information.

You will oversee certification courses, merchandising, and pricing, while coaching associates to embody the basic P’s of retail: People, Position, Product, Presentation, Price, Promotion, Purchasing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of customer service/sales experience or equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Act and work in a manner consistent with the company’s core values.
• Demonstrate understanding of safe lifting practices and procedures.
• Drive and teach the basic P’s of retail: People, Position, Product, Presentation, Price, Promotion, Purchasing.
• Provide direction to product sales specialists to ensure high levels of customer service.
• Complete all product specialist certification courses.
• Understand merchandise and installation.
• Ensure merchandising, pricing and organization of the department.
• Communicate SOP directions and changes to associates in a timely manner.
• Complete forklift proficiency testing and certification.
• Communicate inventory needs to management.
• Direct and assist merchandise processing to showroom floor.
• Validate product placement and pricing within the department.
• Greet customers and assist with questions and selections.
• Process customers at checkout and handle refunds/exchanges per guidelines.
• Present 'how-to' classes to customers.
