Floor & Decor is hiring for a Product Sales Specialist training role in Pennsylvania. You will train staff and ensure customers receive excellent service and up-to-date product information in a fast-paced store environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 year of customer service/sales experience or equivalent
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Act in a manner consistent with company values
• Drive and teach the basic P’s of retail: People, Position, Product, Presentation, Price, Promotion, Purchasing
• Provide direction to product sales specialists to ensure high-quality customer service
• Complete all product specialist certification courses
• Understand merchandise and installation thoroughly
• Ensure merchandising, pricing and department organization
• Communicate SOP directions and changes to associates promptly
• Complete forklift certification and testing
• Communicate inventory needs to management
• Direct and assist with processing of merchandise to showroom floor
• Validate product placement and pricing within the department
• Greet customers in a helpful and courteous manner
• Assist customers with product questions and selections
• Process customers at checkout using POS
• Process refunds and exchanges per guidelines
• Present how-to classes to customers
• Follow cash, check and card procedures
• Answer the telephone per guidelines
• Stock and tag displays
• Create price tags and signage
