Job summary

Leidos in Chantilly, VA seeks a Tier II Network Technician to support LAN/WAN devices, incident management, and network changes. The role collaborates with Tier III engineers on projects, maintains topologies, and ensures asset records are up-to-date. Travel up to 25% may be required, and a TS/SCI with Poly clearance is mandatory.

Office presence is required five days a week at the posted location with no relocation offered. Knowledge of Cisco/Juniper equipment and basic routing is essential.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI with Poly clearance required.
• 10 years of experience can be a combination of work history and education.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 must be satisfied.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP and the OSI model required.
• Working knowledge of basic routing fundamentals.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.
• Valid driver's license and driving record required.
• Office presence at location(s) posted (no relocation).

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain client LAN/WAN devices.
• Respond to and resolve incident tickets.
• Draft and implement standard network change requests.
• Support Tier III engineers for incidents and projects.
• Update topology drawings and asset records; conduct inventory.
• Coordinate network operations, maintenance, repairs, or upgrades.
