Job summary

Leidos Inc in Colorado Springs seeks a Tier II Network Technician to support data communications systems, design specs, testing and network upgrades. You will analyze hardware/software solutions with network modeling, and assist Tier III engineers on incidents and projects.

Requirements include TS/SCI with Poly, 10 years of experience (or equivalent), DoD 8570 IAT Level 2, TCP/IP/OSI knowledge, and willingness to travel up to 25%. Office presence is required at the posted location.

Qualifications

• Must hold TS/SCI with Poly clearance.
• 10 years of experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Must meet DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 requirement.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP and OSI model.
• Working knowledge of basic routing fundamentals.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Office presence at least 5 days per week at the posted location.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain client LAN/WAN devices.
• Respond to and resolve incident tickets.
• Draft and implement standard network change requests.
• Support Tier III engineers on incidents and projects.
• Update topology drawings and asset records; conduct inventory.
• Coordinate network operations, maintenance, repairs, or upgrades.
• Familiar with CISCO/Juniper RMA process; basic Layer 1/2 configurations.
