Job summary

Leidos seeks a Tier II Network Technician to support client LAN/WAN, design specs, testing, and upgrades for network solutions. You will respond to incidents, draft change requests, and assist Tier III engineers with surveys and installs.

Core duties include asset management, topology updates, and coordinating upgrades. Requires TS/SCI CI, 6 years’ experience, and familiarity with Cisco/Juniper OS, VLANs, and Layer 3 protocols; up to 25% travel.

Qualifications

• Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI CI) required.
• 6 years of combined work history and education experience.
• IAT Level 2 information assurance certification required.
• Strong routing, switching, and TCP/IP knowledge.
• Familiar with Cisco/Juniper RMA processes.

Responsibilities

• Support installation and maintenance of client LAN/WAN devices.
• Respond to incidents, troubleshoot, and communicate with the team.
• Draft and implement standard network change requests.
• Assist Tier III engineers with site surveys and equipment installs.
• Maintain topology drawings and asset records; conduct inventory.
• Coordinate network operations, maintenance, repairs or upgrades.
• Perform IOS upgrades for Cisco/Juniper/Fonundry OS and manage VLANs.
