Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Tier II Network Technician in Chantilly, VA to support design, testing, and upgrades of client network systems. You will handle installation, troubleshooting, incident management, and collaboration with Tier III engineers across LAN/WAN environments.

Qualifications include TS/SCI CI Poly, 6 years of experience (or equivalent education) and familiarity with CISCO/Juniper devices, routing protocols, and ITSM tools like ServiceNow and Confluence.

Qualifications

Requires TS/SCI CI poly and DoD 8140 IAT Level 2.
6 years of experience or equivalent education/combination.
Knowledge of CISCO/Juniper RMA processes and layer 1–3 networking.

Responsibilities

Install and maintain client LAN/WAN devices.
Respond to incidents and communicate with the team.
Complete tasks within SLOs/SLAs.
Draft and implement standard network change requests.
Support Tier III engineers for incidents and projects.
Update topology drawings and asset records.
Coordinate network operations, maintenance, repairs, or upgrades.
Perform IOS upgrades for Cisco, Juniper, Brocade and Foundry OS.
Familiar with Visio, ServiceNow, and Confluence.
