Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior Tier II Network Technician to support the client's computer data communications systems, perform design specifications, testing, and upgrades. The role involves coordinating network operations, troubleshooting, and assisting Tier III engineers on projects.

The ideal candidate will have extensive Cisco/Juniper experience, familiarity with OSPF/BGP, VLANs, and experience with network modeling.

Qualifications

• Requires TS/SCI CI Poly clearance.
• DoD 8140 IAT Level 2 compliance is required.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
• Flexible hours, including weekend support.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Support installation and maintenance of client LAN/WAN devices.
• Respond to incidents and troubleshoot with the team.
• Draft and implement standard network change requests.
• Coordinate with Tier III engineers for projects and site surveys.
• Update topology drawings and asset management records.
• Perform IOS upgrades for Cisco, Juniper, Brocade and Foundry OS.
