Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Tier II Network Technician in Reston, VA to support client LAN/WAN devices, perform incident response, and assist Tier III engineers on projects. The role requires strong knowledge of CISCO/Juniper equipment, TCP/IP, and network switching/routing. Expect limited travel and a TS/SCI CI poly clearance.

Responsibilities include configuration management, asset tracking, and network change drafting, with a focus on maintaining service levels and accurate topology documentation.

Qualifications

Knowledge of TCP/IP and OSI models
Layer 1/2/3 networking concepts and protocols
Experience with CISCO/Juniper IOS/JUNOS and other OS
Experience with network change management and asset management tools
Familiarity with Visio, ServiceNow and Confluence

Responsibilities

Support installation and maintenance of client LAN/WAN devices
Respond to and resolve incidents and communicate with the team
Complete tasks within SLOs/SLAs
Draft and implement standard network change requests
Support Tier III engineers for incident management and projects
Perform configuration management and asset inventory
Coordinate network operations, maintenance, repairs, or upgrades
Up to 25% travel
