Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Tier II Network Technician to support client LAN/WAN devices, perform incident resolution, and implement network changes. The role involves collaboration with Tier III engineers, site surveys, and asset management. Expect 6+ years combined experience, DoD-level IA requirements, and ability to work with Cisco/Juniper platforms.

Travel up to 25% may be required. This position is part of the Digital Modernization Sector and requires TS/SCI CI Poly clearance.

Qualifications

• Requires TS SCI CI clearance
• 6 years of combined work history and education
• Knowledge of TCP/IP and OSI models
• Familiarity with Layer 3 protocols (OSPF, BGP, VRRP, HSRP, MPLS, LSP, GRE)
• Experience with Cisco/Juniper RMA processes
• Experience with Layer 1/2/3 network concepts and equipment

Responsibilities

• Support installation and maintenance of client LAN/WAN devices
• Respond to incidents and troubleshoot; communicate with team
• Draft and implement standard network change requests
• Provide support to Tier III engineers for incidents and projects
• Perform topology updates, asset management, and inventory
• Coordinate network operations, maintenance, repairs, or upgrades
• Up to 25% travel
