Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Tier II Network Technician in Chantilly, VA to support client LAN/WAN design, installation, and upgrades. You will diagnose incidents, perform configurations, and assist Tier III engineers on site surveys and projects, while maintaining accurate topology drawings and asset records.

The ideal candidate has TS/SCI CI Poly, DoD 8140 IAT Level 2, 6 years of related experience, and hands-on experience with Cisco/Juniper devices, VLANs, OSPF/BGP, and IOS/ JUNOS/ Foundry OS.

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI CI Poly clearance.
6 years of combined work history and education experience.
DoD 8140 IAT Level 2 compliance.
Working knowledge of basic routing fundamentals and layer 2 switching.
Familiarity with Cisco IOS, Juniper JUNOS, and Brocade/Foundry OS.

Responsibilities

Support installation and maintenance of client LAN/WAN devices.
Respond to incidents, troubleshoot, and communicate with the team.
Draft and implement standard network change requests.
Assist Tier III engineers on site surveys, TEMS, and projects.
Update topology drawings and maintain asset records.
Perform IOS upgrades for Cisco, Juniper, Brocade, Foundry OS.
