Job summary

QBE, LLC is hiring a Deskside Technician (TS/SCI Cleared) to be the Tier II expert for end-user computing, printing, and classroom tech on an enterprise program supporting a DoW agency. This onsite role in Quantico, VA may involve up to 10% travel.

You will diagnose complex issues, enforce STIG standards, and deploy workstation deployments with security posture validated. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in desktop support, TS/SCI eligibility, and a DoD-focused background, with MECM/Intune and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of related experience.
U.S. Citizen with TS/SCI eligibility to start.
Active DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level I baseline certification required.
Experience with Windows 10/11, AD, Group Policy, printers, and networking.
Experience with MECM/SCCM and disk encryption (BitLocker).
Ability to work independently and document resolutions for knowledge reuse.
Lift up to 50 pounds and travel between sites as required.
Shift 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. ET with after-hours on-call.

Responsibilities

Perform Tier II diagnostics for hardware, software, printing, and network issues.
Analyze configurations against baseline and STIG requirements.
Plan and execute workstation deployments and refreshes.
Coordinate printer/MFD actions with vendors and support teams.
Assess classroom readiness and resolve issues in real time.
Evaluate cybersecurity impact and apply remediation with POA&M artifacts.
Create knowledge articles to prevent recurring issues.
Close tickets with thorough documentation and lifecycle tracking.
