Job summary

Empower AI seeks a motivated Deskside Technician in Hanover, MD to analyze and resolve escalated Tier II end-user computing issues for a DoW agency program. You’ll assess hardware lifecycles, deploy STIG‑compliant images, and coordinate vendor services as the Government’s technical liaison.

This is an on-site, salaried role with travel up to 10%. You must have a US citizen status, active clearance eligibility, and a DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level I certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3 years of related experience; 2 years with Associate's and 4 years substitute.
• U.S. Citizen with active clearance eligibility to start.
• Experience in desktop support, IT hardware repair, or field service.
• Strong Windows 10/11, AD, M365, and remote support knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Analyze escalated Tier II incidents and determine root cause and resolution.
• Deploy workstation images using STIG-compliant methods and tools.
• Coordinate hardware and software configurations, and assist with asset management.
• Troubleshoot desk-side network issues and coordinate vendor service as needed.
• Draft knowledge articles and contribute to enterprise endpoint engineering.
