Job summary

Amentum is seeking an IT Support Technician to support our DHS customer at regional CONUS and OCONUS facilities in Tucson, AZ. This full-time, temporary role supports Tier 2 help desk tasks, hardware/software troubleshooting, and video conference support.

The position requires Windows experience, AD, encryption, backups, and customer service excellence, with potential extension beyond 4/2027 and periodic after-hours support.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or 3+ years with a high school diploma.
• Hands-on IT help desk support experience and hardware/software troubleshooting.
• Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing system.
• Familiar with Windows 11, Office 365, Teams, and endpoint tools.
• Able to pass background checks and travel locally as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2 IT help desk support and remote assistance.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and video conferencing issues.
• Assist with patching, AD, encryption, and backups.
• Support network devices, servers, and mobile/wireless equipment.
• Maintain documentation and participate in after-hours on-call rotation.
