Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide advanced troubleshooting and manage escalated tickets. This contract role is based in Chicago, IL with hybrid work options and a focus on Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and IAM processes.

You will support endpoint lifecycle, collaborate with global IT teams, and contribute to knowledge base and process improvements. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting and resolving escalated IT issues.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 administration.
• Knowledge of IAM processes (MFA, SSO, role-based access).

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2 support for escalated incidents across desktop, apps, network, and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues with elevated admin access.
• Serve as escalation point for Tier 1 support analysts.
• Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 services and licensing.
• Work with IAM processes including SSO, MFA, Okta, Azure AD.
• Manage Active Directory and Windows authentication issues.
• Support endpoint lifecycle with Intune, Autopilot, and JAMF.
• Collaborate with global IT teams to maintain standards.
