Job summary

TEKsystems in Menasha, WI is seeking a Help Desk Support Technician (Tier 1) to deliver first-line IT assistance to end users. You will respond to requests, troubleshoot common issues, and document resolutions.

This full-time, onsite role works 8:00 AM–5:00 PM in a collaborative IT environment. Ideal candidates have 6 months to 2+ years in a help desk role, experience with Windows OS and Microsoft 365, and familiarity with AD and ITSM ticketing platforms.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 2+ years in a Help Desk/Service Desk/Desktop Support role.
• Experience with Windows OS and Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level support via phone, email, and ticketing systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve common issues: password resets, AD basics, printers, software installations.
• Create, update, and manage support tickets in ITSM.
• Escalate complex issues with documentation and notes.
• Maintain thorough troubleshooting documentation and meet service expectations.
