Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Service Desk Analyst in Beloit, WI to join the IT Support team. The role supports a growing backlog with a focus on reliable, customer-facing technical assistance and adherence to established processes.

Hybrid schedule preferred with onsite and remote days; training will require onsite work. The position is contract through year-end with potential extension or contract-to-hire, offering a practical entry into IT support careers.

Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities in a high-volume help desk.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to follow procedures while also thinking independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 technical support via phone.
• Troubleshoot and resolve end-user technology issues.
• Escalate issues to Tier 2 support when needed.
• Reset Active Directory passwords and assist with account support.
• Troubleshoot printer issues and connectivity problems.
• Investigate basic network-related issues, including switch outages.
• Support desktop, laptop, and general PC troubleshooting.
• Document resolutions and create knowledge base articles when needed.
• Deliver excellent customer service while handling a high volume of requests.
