Job summary

AEG Presents seeks a Manager of Ticketing in New York to design scaling plans for venues, build events in ticketing software, and distribute daily counts to internal teams and artist management. The role collaborates with promoters, venues, and management to maximize attendance and revenue.

The position may manage special events' ticketing operations, inventory strategy, allocations, and box office execution. Flexible evenings and weekends required with strong collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of related work experience in the entertainment industry.
• Proven supervisory experience.
• Experience in developing startup box offices and strategies preferred.
• Box Office experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with basic accounting and budgeting principals.
• Familiarity with AXS, Ticketmaster and other ticketing platforms.

Responsibilities

• Set up and configure events within ticketing platforms with promoters or events teams.
• Manage ticket holds and process orders for artist management and internal buys.
• Prepare and distribute daily ticket counts for agents and offices.
• Lead and train new team members on box office operations and guest lists.
• Collaborate to develop ticketing promotions, discounts, and group sales initiatives.
• Create pop-up box offices for seasonal shows and coordinate with events teams.
