Job summary

Eventive Sports, part of Troon, is seeking a data-driven Ticketing and Analytics Manager in Birmingham, AL to oversee all ticketing operations for our events using the Tixr platform. You will manage builds, reporting, and on-site ticketing while driving revenue and fan engagement.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with ticketing systems, strong data skills, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and event days in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
• 2–3 years of experience in ticketing operations, event management, or sports marketing preferred.
• Experience with ticketing platforms such as Tixr, Ticketmaster, Etix, or similar systems strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret and present data clearly.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and analytics tools (Meta, X/Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Google Analytics).
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneously.
• Comfortable working nights, weekends, and event days as required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary administrator for the Tixr ticketing platform across all Eventive Sports properties and events.
• Set up and manage all ticketing builds including products, pricing, promo codes, access control, and reporting dashboards.
• Monitor ticket sales, trends, and revenue performance using Tixr data and analytics; provide regular reporting.
• Develop and distribute sales reports, pacing updates, and forecasts for marketing and operations.
• Manage all ticketing-related customer service, including inquiries, refunds, exchanges, and issue resolution.
• Oversee on-site ticketing operations at events including staffing, troubleshooting, scanning, and box office management.
• Analyze ticket sales performance, revenue trends, and customer behavior to inform pricing and promotions.
• Monitor conversion rates, sales funnels, and campaign effectiveness across digital channels.
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve ticket sales and fan engagement.
• Coordinate with marketing on promotions, on-sale timelines, and digital campaigns.
• Ensure accurate financial reconciliation of ticket sales, settlements, and post-event reporting.
• Train internal staff and event partners on ticketing systems and processes as needed.
• Support marketing team on paid and organic social campaigns by providing data insights.
