Job summary

Thump-Coffee in Bend, OR is hiring a Part-time Bakery Assistant to join our York Café, Bakery, & Roastery team. Shifts are 8:00am–4:00pm, 2–3 days per week, with Saturday and Sunday availability required.

You’ll mix, scoop, and bake a variety of goods, keep the bake space clean, and work with a friendly crew focused on daily goals and high-quality pastries. Benefits include a starting $20–$21/hour, a free shift meal, and opportunities for retirement and health benefits.

The Role

Part-time Bakery Assistant position, 2-3 days/week with Saturday and Sunday availability required. Shifts are 8:00am - 4:00pm (sometimes shorter) at our York Café, Bakery, & Roastery.

*Physical Realities of the Job

• Lift and carry heavy mixing bowls, baking trays, and ingredients
• Operate large ovens, mixers, and other commercial baking gear
• Push/pull baking racks and carts
• Stand/walk for most of your shift
• Bend, reach, and stoop to grab ingredients and tools
• Roll, stir, fold, and shape doughs and batters
• Tackle dish duty - because clean tools make great food
• Must be 18 years or older
