Job summary

Jubilee Ministries is seeking a dependable, friendly Thrift Store Assistant Manager to join our new Shillington, PA thrift store team. The position carries a tentative start date of November 2, 2026, with schedule Monday–Saturday, mornings and evenings.

Compensation is $19.00 per hour, with benefits including health/dental/vision coverage and PTO. As part of a faith-driven ministry, you will help supervise staff, manage operations, and ensure excellent service while upholding the Gospel-centered

Responsibilities

Assist the store manager in daily operations and supervise staff to ensure policies are followed.
Oversee merchandise displays and store presentation.
Help resolve customer complaints and returns.
Assist with cash register operations during busy periods.
Support opening and closing procedures as needed.
Monitor for shoplifting and follow policy.
Participate in staff meetings and team building.

What You'll Do

Assist the manager in store operations and supervise staff, ensuring policies and procedures are being followed.
Assist the manager in overseeing merchandise displays throughout the store.
Assist in resolving customer complaints and returns.
Assist in cash register operations during busy times or to provide adequate coverage.
Assist in opening and closing the store as instructed.
Be alert for shoplifting and follow the Shoplifting Policy.
Participate in staff meetings and team building.
