Ohio Valley Goodwill Industries is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Batesville, IN to coordinate daily retail operations with the Store Manager. You will supervise staff, manage cash, donations, and inventory while ensuring safety and store standards.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a focus on customer service. A flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, is expected to support store operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Two years of prior retail progressive management experience preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in retail or related field.
• Experience selecting, coaching, and developing associates in retail.
• Proficiency in scheduling store staff.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily operation of the retail store with the Store Manager.
• Handle cash transactions, ordering supplies, and opening/closing the store.
• Maintain a flexible schedule, including weekends/holidays.
• Assist in supervision and training of employees.
• Greet donors, unload donations, sort items, handle cash, and ensure store upkeep.
• Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
• Ensure security and control procedures are followed.
