Evansville Goodwill Industries, Inc. in Mount Vernon, IN is seeking a Store Manager to lead daily operations of the donated goods retail store and develop the store team, volunteers and clients in support of Goodwill’s mission.

You will oversee customer service, cash handling, scheduling, training, hiring, and store finance reporting, with a focus on data-driven performance and compliant operations. This is a full-time position with evenings and weekends required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or 2 years retail management experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure top-tier customer service, maintain clean and safe facilities, and manage inventory using data-driven performance insights.
• Oversee financial tasks, including cash handling, register balancing, and store finance reporting, while conducting audits for improvements.
• Manage product logistics and supervise team operations, including hiring, training, and development.
