RTX is seeking an early‑career Thermal Engineer to join the MA&T team in Tucson, AZ. You will perform hand calculations and detailed thermal analyses, and develop test plans to validate analyses and verify hardware against customer requirements.

The role requires a STEM bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience, or an advanced degree. Proficiency with FloTHERM, PATRAN, Thermal Desktop/SINDA, or ANSYS is needed, and eligibility for a U.S. government security clearance is required.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM and at least 2 years of relevant experience; or an advanced STEM degree.
• Experience in thermal analysis using FloTHERM, PATRAN, Thermal Desktop/SINDA, ANSYS, or equivalent.
• Strong grasp of mechanical principles for thermal analysis; able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to obtain and hold a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.
