RTX is seeking a mid-level Senior Thermal Engineer to join the MA&T Department in Tucson, AZ. You will perform detailed thermal analyses across product lifecycles, applying heat transfer principles and finite element methods.

You will plan tests, correlate data, and present results to customers and peers to support program objectives. The role requires a bachelor's degree in STEM and 5+ years of relevant experience; advanced degrees are welcomed.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 5+ years of relevant experience; advanced degree can substitute years.
• Experience in thermal analysis with ANSYS, PATRAN, or Thermal Desktop/SINDA.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
• Experience in thermal testing planning, execution, data reduction, and model correlation.

• Perform hand calculations to scope higher detail analysis models.
• Conduct detailed thermal analyses to address program challenges.
• Generate test plans to validate analyses and ensure hardware compliance.
