RTX is seeking an early-career Thermal Engineer to join the MA&T Department. You will perform detailed thermal analyses from design trades through production support, using hand calculations and finite element tools.

Responsibilities include test planning, data reduction, model correlation and presenting results to customers. Requires a STEM bachelor’s, 2+ years of experience, and eligibility for a U.S. government security clearance; role is onsite with potential travel.

Competenze

Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 2+ years of relevant experience; advanced degree may substitute for experience.
Experience in thermal analysis with FloTHERM, PATRAN, Thermal Desktop/SINDA or ANSYS.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities; team collaboration skills.
Ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
Willingness to travel to government and other facilities as needed.
