RTX is seeking an experienced Principal Thermal Engineer to join the MA&T Department. You will lead thermal analysis across product lifecycles, from design trades to production support, using hand calculations and finite element methods.

The role requires hands-on testing planning, data reduction, and peer reviews, with opportunities to shape MA&T processes. The position is onsite in the United States with a DoD secret clearance, citizenship required.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with 8+ years of related experience
• Experience in thermal analysis using FloTHERM, PATRAN, Thermal Desktop/SINDA or ANSYS
• Experience applying mechanical principles to thermal analysis and independent work
• Experience in thermal testing from planning to data correlation
• Leadership experience in a team of thermal analysts
• Ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance (citizenship required)
